So just got back from an AWESOME trip to San Francisco. Much thanks to LAJ and Connor for throwing such an awesome convention. I had a blast and got a lot of great business done. I found out that hotels try to charge crazy rates to rent a projector ($325/day) but that for $1.50 each way, a bus ride to Best Buy to buy and then return a new projector is MUCH cheaper! Heh. We took a trip with Rick and the DigiPawn crew to the island of Corregidor Island just off Manila bay. The island was one of the last stands in WWII against the Japanese. As it was retaken it turned into one of the last stands for the Japanese against US and Filipino Troops.
On 6/4/2007 Shey and I had been together for 3 years! We celebrated with a get-away and a romantic dinner! We wanted to get away but not deal with the hassle of a trip. So we checked into a nice hotel in Makati, had an AMAZING dinner, and the staff brought us up an anniversary cake for free!
Shey and I finally have a child, sort of. Stanley is our baby Beagle. He was born in Oregon. Shey flew from Manila to Los Angeles to pick him up on 4/11/07. As you can see by the pix he’s done nothing but play, sleep, and GROW!
